Coaching
Coaching is designed to address specific issues that affect the psychological health of the individual, group or family, such as major life transitions or mental health conditions. Sometimes the Organization may desire for us to present a workshop for its Staff and/or program participants on site. Other times, those interested may prefer individual coaching.
Family coaching aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals. For example, if a child is having social and academic problems, coaching will focus on the family patterns that may contribute to the child's acting out, rather than evaluating the child's behavior alone. Especially, in these times, and today’s news feeds prove that the need for positive family dynamics is essential for the good health of the communities.
Life Skills courses are also available and would include presentations in anger management, good communication skills; and confronting and defeating low self-esteem, depression, and other similar issues.

Primarily, because of these disappointing facts, Pre – as well as Post -Marriage counseling is offered. These sessions help couples resolve conflicts and improve their relationships. Through Pre-marital counseling, couples receive the tools necessary to enter into a marriage equipped with mutual visions and goals. Post -marital counseling will ensure that the couples continue the commitments made at the beginning of the marriage, and share deficits they believe exists. If one or both spouses feel that the marriage has lost its ‘sparkle’ and passion, and commitments made previously are not being kept, then sessions will cover the necessary changes and compromises to recommit and recharge the marriage. If the couples desire, there are members of His Hands Extended who are qualified to perform a wedding ceremony, or renewal vows.

Having set your feet on the path for your present and future success, you may feel confused about direction. You may wonder if perhaps you've wandered off the path along the way. At times, we seek help to navigate life and the responsibilities that it entails, so the empowerment that we seek can take on many forms.
Spiritual Empowerment can be met through Group or Individual Bible Studies and/or Devotions. We live in a society that now, more than ever, people are challenged by crime, lack of finances to properly support themselves and loved ones, and poor health that results in depression, financial stress and decrease in a productive, enjoyable lifestyle. These issues can, and do, affect all aspects of our lives, and we are able to offer individual or group sessions to provide encouragement, support, and referrals to other resources as necessary. For many, empowerment will work not in an area of strength, but in a place where we feel weak.

We will also offer services to the Staff and/or Program Participants of the Nonprofit Organizations. These basic financial services would include budgeting, opening a bank account and keeping it in good standing, and instructions in repairing and maintaining a good credit report. When members of a community are financially healthy, then the community is healthy as well.
